It's a no-brainer, the Gulfstream 250 comes with a nacho bar.

Your question is fairly vague, but if money isn't an issue, a Gulfstream 550 would rank pretty high on the list. It has a range of over 6500 miles, speeds up to around mach .88, and an altitude limit up to about 51,000 feet. It's an awesome a/c, but it will cost you big $ $ $ .

There are a number of Very Light Jets or VLJ's coming on the market at this time. Two of the least expensive (as jets go) are the twin engine Eclipse (approx $ 1.6 million), or the single engine Diamond Jet. Both are small aircraft made for four to six people and are certified for single pilot operation. The new Cessna Mustang already mentioned is my first choice as far as light jets go; very fast, reasonable size cabin and very simple cockpit resources management. It is also considerably more expensive than either the Diamond Jet or the Eclipse (app. $ 2.6m)

If you're only looking to hold 4 peiple, not including the pilot and copilot, a Citation Mustang is the best bet, in terms of VLJ and if you have somewhat of a "budget" (The Mustang costs just south of 2 million). If money is no issue, look to the Cessna Citation X, the fastest civilian aircraft currently flying.

Learjet 60 is great. It has enough fuel capacity to go from LA to Hawaii, if you don't take too much stuff. It goes up to 535 nautical miles per hour.

The price: I was limited to the amount of my tax refund.

Would you like a glass of Mouton Rothschild or a Romanée Conti?
